Across the State

Kansas State University

Theresa Frazier has been hired as an Assistant Director. She started her new responsibilities in May and is a very welcome addition to the staff.

Washburn University

Michelle Carson (formerly with Wichita Area Technical College) has been hired as Assistant Director.

Linda Oldham Burns (formerly with Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College) has been hired as Scholarship Coordinator.

Laura Cooks has been hired as the new Pell Specialist. She is from Topeka.

Newman University

Toni Hughes has been hired as a Financial Aid/Student Accounts Assistant. She is also due to become a first-time grandma anyday!

Tabor College

Bruce Jost welcomes home a brand new baby daughter. Ella Corinne was born on June 19, 2003, at 12:27 p.m. She weighed 5 lbs, 9 ozs and was 19 inches long.

Pratt Community College

Krystal Atteberry has left the Financial Aid Office to take a position as bookstore manager on campus.

Richard Sandstrom (formerly with Barclay College) has been hired to fill the vacant position. July 1, 2003, was his first day.

Butler County Community College

Sherri Conard, Loan Counselor, had a new baby boy, Trey Robert, on May 9, 2003. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 9 ozs. They are both doing great!

Aubrey Pirtle just joined the staff as the new Loan Counselor.

Judy Bomgardner retired on June 30th.

Lori Beck has joined the staff as Assistant Technical Coordinator.

Tiffani Price and Heather Ward are now Financial Aid Counselors for the El Dorado office.

Commerce Bank & Trust

Barbara Stapleton was promoted within the Student Loan Services department to Marketing Officer.

Sarah Butler has been hired as the new Student Loan Assistant. Previously, she was with the bank's Internet banking department.

University of Kansas

Pamela (Financial Aid Specialist) and Paul Clark welcomed son David Michael Clark on March 17, 2003. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 15ozs and was 18 inches long. He was welcomed home by big brother, Jonathan.

Michelle Wiesing was promoted to Assistant Director in June 2003. She has been in the Financial Aid Office for 4 years and has worked her way up from office secretary. The promotion came after Michelle received her Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration in May 2003.

Jake Preston was promoted from Graduate Assistant to Financial Aid Counselor. Jake just finished coursework for his Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration.

Douglas Claycamp was recently hired as a Financial Aid Specialist. He has experience in the student loan industry as a former Sallie Mae employee.

Rick Rams has left the Financial Aid Office to take an Assistant Director position in sunny California. He is at Cal State-San Marcos.
