The Last Word: Three Ways to Express Yourself on Reauthorization!
Submitted by Annita Huff
The NASFAA Reauthorization Task Force continues to seek your ideas and
thoughts on issues you feel need to be addressed during the upcoming
reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 1965. You have multiple
ways to communicate your suggestions to the Task Force:
- 1) You can send your comments to reauth@nasfaa.org. Messages from this
e-mail box are distributed to the Task Force members for consideration
during their discussions. We are very grateful for the suggestions we've
received so far and thank all NASFAA Members who have taken the time to
correspond with the Task Force.
- 2) If you will be present at the NASFAA Conference in New Orleans, plan
to share your ideas by attending one of the two Reauthorization Task
Force presentations/forums that are scheduled for Monday, July 22.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the progress the Task
Force has made and hear about specific issues for which additional help
is needed.
- 3) If you get an inspiration (or a free moment) at the Conference, you
are invited to stop by the NASFAA booth and submit your ideas to the
Task Force via the computer there.
Your input is extremely important to us as we work to develop
reauthorization recommendations to advance on behalf of NASFAA and its
Members. Please take these opportunities to express yourself on issues
that you care about!
